New Moon of 2 July 2008 for the USA.

The focus this month will be on debt levels, both individual and governmental. These debt levels will continue to rise and the housing and mortgage crisis will be seen to worsen. As a result of this the popularity of the Republican party will continue to worsen and this will be in line with my prediction of a complete Democratic Party win during the November election. Obama will be the next president of the United States.

The citizenry of the US is very discontent with the lot of their lives and a s a result some will result to violence and drug and alcohol abuse to escape from their problems. Related to this you will see a rise in socialist or even anarchic political movements within the US. The stock market will continue to do poorly – although there may be rallies the US has entered a Bear Market cycle which might last as long as twenty years.

Media and short distance travel are not looking very favorable. I believe that people view the media with a bit of skepticism. Short distance travel doesn't look favorable either due to either accidents or the debt level of the country. This could indicate that people may not travel or vacation as much due to higher gas prices, and this may indicate that automobile sales will continue to decline. The only favorable sectors will be that of oil, gas, pharmaceuticals, alcohol and tobacco companies, hospitals, and rehabilitation services. Within the US agriculture will be relatively poor.

The government will be seen to become more bureaucratic. Women and children may as well be suffering due to financial hardships and poor health in general. The level of unemployment could also rise during this month.

The quality of our armed forces has begun to decline. Any military operations begun during this month will not be very successful, and this could indicate that our precious military is way over extended. The danger is that the president is on a war path and he doesn't realize or care that the military is well over extended. The president and advisors will very likely seek to expand their war, although they will find resistance to it from congress. This may also cause a loss in our allies, who are against this increased desire for war. With this said the President must guard his health.

The people's faith in the legal system and in organized religion will be seen to wane, as their faith seems challenged by their problems on this material level.

This should be a very fortunate time for peace and charitable organizations. This will also be a very good month for us to develop metaphysical skills such as meditation and positive thinking.
