Is your logo a diabolical symbol?

Absolutely NOT! In fact I don't believe in the existence of a "devil." I believe that any behavior that degrades God's work is ignorance, and this ignorance (that we are all one) is what is diabolical in our world. Superstition has no purpose in this "New Age."

The devil is a scapegoat that allows one to remove personal responsibility. For instance, If a person, murders someone, or cheats on their wife - they may say - "Oh, the devil made me do it." But let us look at the example of Jesus being tempted by the devil while he was in the desert for 40 days. The devil try as he may;  Jesus did not succumb to the temptations that the devil offered him, which were essentially to gratify his senses(satisfy hunger), to rule the world (power), and to test the existence of God ("The angels will catch you if you throw yourself down from the heights")

 Jesus and other such as the Buddha, have taught how important moral (albeit morality is subjective) and mental discipline are! Just remember the Golden Rule!

The design is quite simply my first initial and my last name J - Roel. The "J" and the "R" are blended into one symbol. The design is based on astrological symbology. My ascendant is in Scorpio so the "J" upturns similar to the scorpion's tail. It is also similar in design to the symbol of mars the raditional ruler of Scorpio.  The tail of the "R" comes down like the symbol for the planet venus, it also looks similar to the "Rx" symbok which signifies a retrograded planet.  The the symbol is a blending or union of masculine (mars) and feminine (venus) symbology. The color is red because red is the color attributed to mars. 

The logo is placed between a lunar eclipse and a solar eclipse and set amid a field of stars, again astrological in symbolism.

Why is your website so dark in color?

For design purposes only. I wanted a bold yet esoteric look to my website, and because I sell jewelry I wanted a different look to my website -  ceratin images look better on a field of black than they do on a field of white, because the white sort of detracts from what you are trying to present to the viewer.

Thats it!

Yet, red and black are the colors of revolution, yet in this case I believe that they signify a spiritual revolution - a movement away from ignorance!
