This is the first post of this new feature on my site. This will be followed up every new moon. This case is special because this month there is a lunar eclipse, its effects can last up to several months beyond (after) the date it occurs. I have chosen to dscuss the 11 September 2007 eclipse in the next post as that is the date of the next new moon...

Many people have stated that my seasonal predictions are too vague, so this is my attempt to fine tune them a bit. Don't fret - this horoscope should be read in unison with the predictions of the US- this one should be read with the summer US predictions and so on...

Yes, I know somethings menioned here don't require astrology to deduce - but before casting judgement please, "Have Faith..." Perhaps the fact that the astros reflect what is going on make their interpretation more valid.

Mundane New Moon Horoscope for 12 August 2007

The focus is month is on the war in Iraq. The upper class and the real estate and mortgage markets will continue to do poorly, in fact this is a primary reason why the upper class' finances will also suffer during this month. There could be trouble with electrical devices, blackouts, computers, air travel. Political scandals perhaps including the war and even including judicial and legal issues perhaps including Atty. General Gonzalez. Issues involving the senate increasing its power will predominate during the last 10 days of this lunar month.

The stock market and finances of the country should continue downward during this time if the market does increase it is due to lucky speculation and not based on "fact" - not as defined by any survey or FED report. There will be trouble through Allies particularly with England and this could affect the war in Iraq negatively.

The common people of this country will continue to be burdened by the behavior of the gov't and the level of debt will increase to crisis proportions I don't know if this indicates a worsening of the mortgage crisis or if this mortgage crisis will begin include other credit devices such as credit card debt. Regardless of this the goverment's earnings are not doing well and neither will employment be healthy regardless of what gov't reports will say.

During this month diplomacy will be unsuccessful. There could be the death or illness of a Gemini person perhaps an actor and with the approaching football season there could be many losses through gambling. Again I want reemphasize that employment will not be doing well during this month.

In matters of the dissension between the executive branch and the legislative branch you can be very certain that Congress is all for the war. Do not believe that they are against it. They understand that any retreat from Iraq would be catastrophic. Again don't misconstrue this as my being pro war-because I am not. The war will continue to be bloody for the young men and women of our armed forces and the condition of the military really seems exhausted. So I ask that your prayers be with the soldiers and sailors of this country who fight for the ideals that this country was founded on - even if you disagree with he war itself. Don't believe the news media as there is much going on behind the scenes with the war and its conduct of which we are not being told.

The executive branch is not doing a good job at all running either the war or the nation. During this month the sole focus of the executive branch will be the conduct of the war. The people favor Congress but even though they seem to oppose the war I can't believe that they really seek to pull out of Iraq as mentioned previously. Congress is also focused on diplomacy and legal issues which perhaps will not be very popular. They could be in some way trying to increase their power at best or increasing the government's power over the people at worst.

Mundane Horoscope for the Lunar Eclipse of 28 August 2007

The focus of this eclipse is on the finances of the country which will be doing very poorly. The debt level as mentioned previously will continue to increase. The housing and mortgage markets seem finished-this may involve serious bank troubles. This will also be a time of high crime.Vice president Cheney must guard his health during this time as this eclipse will very much affect him at worst and at best his integrity will continue to come into question and may face more political inquiries and attacks. There could be the death of some famous well known woman during this time. (perhaps someone such as Margaret Thatcher? the idea is a very influentual female - yet this is only a possibility and as with all things is in the hands of God.)

There can be possible trouble to shipping and issues involving legislation and travel or foreigners seem to predominate. With regard to the war the enemies of the United States seem emboldened, due to the fact that there seems to be an increase in aggression towards the United States-I cannot be sure exactly what this is but my guess is that it applies towards a theater of warfare vs. more terrorism, however the risk of a terrorist attack seems to also be a factor astrologically.

That is, asymmetrical warfare based upon religious fanaticism directed at the United States is a viable theme during this time. It is difficult to state where or how exactly this will manifest. I would suspect that the most direct route would be an increase in hostilities directed towards our troops in combat either in Iraq or Afghanistan or both.

The war in Iraq is not being waged well at all and violence there will very well erupt again. But the interesting thing is that the executive branch and the military leaders seem to be in agreement over the conduct of the war in opposition to the will of the people. Because of this, the country's reputation will suffer. The military and executive branch must redefine their approach if they are truly desirous of victory.

The two parties of Congress will come to an agreement with regard to the conduct of the war. There will be improvements and increases in the military perhaps the surge of troops will continue, having been declared successful but maybe in this case there will be some time line attached. The military will very likely propose that things are better in Iraq but this is not so. The military leaders and planners must be very careful of relying on those who they perceive as friends yet are secretly enemies of this country, this can include: important members of the Iraqi leadership and military: this could also involve our Allies abroad such as those in Pakistan, Afghanistan and elsewhere. It is not important that military planning not place an emphasis upon or reliance on foreign leaders and foreign troops. The reason I say this is if they plan, say an operation where they hope that the indigenous military would step up, it is very possible that they will not. It is also probable that much treachery will be due to the conduct of the foreign troops which American military leaders rely upon. Thus any revamping of the military must be done as if the United States is acting without any Allies, this is very important.

Again I am not for war yet I have no interest in seeing my nation's military decimated.

Conclusion

Though I don't always agree with the path the leaders of this country take us its citizens and even in the case of the war - the world - we must differentiate the "welfare of the people" from that of "political desire." We as a whole must continue to pray that our leaders will "wake up" to what is in the best interests of this nation and the world - the health, happiness and prosperity of its people. Fear, anger and hatred are of no use to us and never have been. Around the world the average person cares not about wars, debts, and stock markets. The average person just wants to make an honest living, not feel cheated, raise their familiy, and watch football with friends and family in peace on Sunday afternoon... Life is simple when you think about it.
